Dr. Delphine Tambe

Maid of Honor

Dr. Delphine Tambe is a wife, a mother of 3 boys, an entrepreneur and above all a lover of Jesus. I live in the United States with my wonderful husband and my boys. Mavis and I have been friends for a long time and it is amazing to see how God has made her in to a strong woman, loving mother, wife and a powerful career giant of her time. Growing up, we all dreamt of a fairytale, exquisite flamboyant and royal wedding and it will be a blessing to be part of the day in reality.

The couple is a power house of gray matter and have held each other up educational, financial and morally. I admire these two so much because they have empowered each other to become the best in their chosen career fields and serve as a good example in our community. Fun fact about the couple is stickability. They have made up their mind to stick together no matter the weather. “Dem don gree for each other oh!”

Aside this, the couple loves to dine and wine with their friends and family, happy moments that lives behind footsteps of cherished memories.

Mavis and I are in the same professional career and what even brought us closer is the support of elevating each other. Ray and Mavis are an example of a couple who thrives to fix any issues that come their way and am proud to see this milestone they have attained in their life and career. I wish you both many more wedding anniversaries and long live your marriage.

Nadia

Bridesmaid

Dr. Mavis and Dr. Raymond are a truly remarkable and dynamic duo. My name is Nadia, a devoted wife and mother to three wonderful children, and navigating a career in information technology. I reside in the United States.

Having known Mavis for quite some time, I am not sure words will do justice to her kind of person. I find it incredibly difficult to fully capture the essence of her character with mere words. She is the epitome of determination, with a relentless work ethic and an unwavering resolve. Whatever she sets her mind to, she accomplishes, as evidenced by her impressive academic and professional accolades.

Mavis is not just an achiever; she is a very caring friend and formidable cook oh my God! You should taste her signature fish! Lol! Every encounter with her guarantees new knowledge. She does not just strive for her own success; she lifts everyone around her, inspiring them to reach their fullest potential…Rare gem!

Isabel

Bridesmaid

Isabel Akum, an Entrepreneur, a Civil Society Activist and a PhD Candidate.  Resident in Yaounde, Cameroon, a football lover and a travel enthusiast.

Isabel is a family member of the groom. As family, I’ve known the groom throughout my lifetime but interestingly, I am closest to the bride (Mavis) and we share a special bond since we first met in 2009. She is an inspiration to me, my go to person for counsel, orientation and guidance with different aspects of life (career/social).

The couple, I love watching them and listening to their intellectual conversations. You can’t help but learn a thing or two if you spend 10mins with them discussing. They are goal oriented and dream chasers. I cannot wait to meet you all physically in August !
